Coach Seiji personal training clients Rusty Potter and Jamison Duclos made massive improvements in their major national performances during the 2009 edition of the Mini O’s.
#108 Rusty Potter posted rode impressively in the B class and posted an 8th in 250 Mod SX, 11th in Schoolboy MX, and a 15th in 250 Stock MX. These were the best results ever for Rusty at this national, traditionally a weaker event for the Midland, TX based rider.
“Last year I only made one main and I was just a gate filler and back marker,” says Rusty. “This year I feel really good inside about my ability and never once did I feel tired at all.”
#23 Jamison Duclos was also able to post his best result ever in a major amateur national by finishing 5th in the 65 Mod SX main under horrible conditions, let alone for a 65cc machine.
“I haven’t felt tired in any moto or practice,” says Jamison. “I just have to figure a few things out.” Look for Jamison to continue improving as he continues training at his Jefferson, WI home.
Coach Seiji would like to congratulate both riders on their gains made this past week in Florida and looks forward to continued progress during the 2010 season.
