Shorty’s Results On The Rise

BTO/KTM rider #29 Andrew Short made a long recovery from two serious injuries suffered while preparing for and racing the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Series. Although fully recovered by the opening rounds of the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series, finding his former speed has been a long and ongoing process.

Shorty had breakthroughs in the last two rounds of the series, posting 11-11 moto scores for 10th overall for the return of the historic Southwick venue and earning 8-8 moto scores for 7th overall at Spring Creek last weekend.

The #29 still sees room for improvement as he heads into the final four races of his professional racing career. Let’s all hope for the momentum to continue as Andrew Short gives his all to end his illustrious career in the style and manner that befits such a standout athlete that has always represented the sport with humility and professionalism.
