My Dream Adventure Bike

I am an adventure riding mega fan; it combines dirt biking with my passion for outdoor adventure. Riding in and to wild, remote and isolated locations via seldom traveled routes is equally enjoyable for me solo or shared with others. Last year I was able to build a personal dream adventure bike, with the starting point being a 2103 KTM Adventure 990 Baja Edition. Dirt Rider Magazine agreed to let me write a web feature for them about the build and it was combined with Andrew Short also building the same bike, taking a different route. Rottweiler Performance of Costa Mesa, CA provided a turn key service for Shorty’s steed, while I took the DYI route of installing all the upgrades from Rottweiler Performance myself. The project culminated with both me and Shorty riding these dream machines at the 2015 KTM Adventure Rider Rally in Crested Butte, CO. We still enjoy riding these machines today, and can guarantee that we will continue to do so far into the future.
