Quick And Dirty Race Results

A lot is going at coachseiji.com and I know I have been slacking on the race reports and such, my apologies! Here is the quick and dirty results of what has been going on for coachseiji.com clients this past week in the pros, amateurs and international scenes:

Coach Seiji personal training client #29 Andrew Short:

The Chaparral/Honda rider made his second appearance to the podium in the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship last weekend in Washougal by qualifying 5th overall and going 4-3 in the motos for 3rd overall on the day. Congrats Andrew, so pumped for you! Beautiful venue by the way, if you haeven’t been there, you owe it to yourself to check it out one day!

Coach Seiji personal training client #131 Keaton Ward:

Keaton just finished up racing today at the 2012 edition of the Ponca City Amatuer MX Championships, the first rendition of the event as an AMA amatuer national. This was Keaton’s first national in the premier A class and he peformed admirably:

250A               8 – 4 – 6 for 6th overall

450A               9 – 5 – 3 for 4th overall

450 Pro Sport   5 – 4 – 4 for 4th overall

Keaton has overcome a lot of obstacles, including an emergency appendectomy at his first Loretta’s regional appearance, and Coach Seiji is proud of and for him. Good job Keaton and on to Loretta’s!

coachseiji.com online training client #23 Jamison Duclos

The Rock River supermini and schoolboy class pilot is currently attending the NMA Grand National Championships in Norman, OK. Although the turnout was meager, Jamison has been riding well and is posting good results in what is essentially a warm up event for Loretta’s:

Schoolboy     4 – 6 for 5th overall (unofficial as of this writing)

Supermini     1 – 2 for 2nd overall

Jamison will soon be on his way to Loretta’s for his first stab at Loretta’s aboard bikes bigger than 85’s!

coachseiji.com online training client #113 Juan Pedro Cordovez

Ecuadorian Juan Pedro Cordovez (Yamaha Ecuador/GYTR Ecuador) scored the double this past weekend in his country’s pro national motocross series by dominating both classes of racing. Juan went 1-2 in the MX1 class to claim the overall and went 2-1 in the MX2 class to gain the victory there as well. Congratulations to Juan and I would personally like say “good job” as we have both had to overcome some communication barriers, technology barriers and cultural barriers to make our coaching relationship work as well as it has so far. Juan travels to Peru this weekend for an international race there, safe travels and the best of luck!

Thanks to all my clients for thier continued support! Onward!
